HLUG News
- Important Update - A message from the organizer:
At this time, the Hartford Linux User Group is temporarily on hold while I focus on finding my next opportunity in the Linux/IT field. Once I secure a new position
I plan to resume scheduling meetings and bringing the group back to an active status.
The group email list is still active. If you are interested in joining the Hartford Linux User Group, please send me an email and I will add you to the mailing list so you can stay informed when meetings resume.
In the meantime, if you are aware of any Linux, System Administration, Cloud, or IT opportunities, I would greatly appreciate any leads, referrals, or networking connections. The Linux community has always been built on sharing knowledge and helping one another, and I welcome the opportunity to connect with anyone who may be able to help or who would like to stay involved.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. I look forward to getting the group back up and running soon.

Upcoming and past HartfordLUG virtual meeting details
- Looking to start a new year, Looking for people to give talks. (https://meet.ostroff.xyz) and the backup server (https:// jitsi.member.fsf.org/hartfordlug) shows both are working. The not so good news: nobody is available to run this week's meeting. However, the primary jitsi server will be opened for use as an open session - for discussion of anything of interest to those participating. If you do have any trouble with audio or video, try using a chromium based browser, as there have been reported (although inconsistant) problems with Firefox. Since the primary server does seem to be working, the alternate server will not be used this week. Apologies for the late notice.
